Our growth isn’t just measured through number, but in the impact that we create. By continuously evolving our skills, expanding our capabilities and staying true to our values, we’ve been able to make long lasting impacts on the people that we support.
Since our founding, we have been committed to growing responsibly to meet the increasing demand for high quality person centred support. Over the past few years, we have expanded our reach significantly, now supporting around 150 individuals, across 20 services in England. This growth reflects both the trust placed in us by the people we support, their families and the commissioners. As we continue to expand, we remain focused on maintaining the quality and personalised support that defines 1st Enable.

People we Support
At the heart of our approach is the belief that every person we support should have the opportunity to live as independently as possible. In a past survey, 100% of supported people stated that the staff have helped them to be more independent. These results reflect our commitment to person centred care.
Family member satisfaction
We believe that the best measurement of our success is the satisfaction and happiness of the people we support and their families. Through recent surveys and feedback, we gathered that 100% of people are happy with the care and support they receive and 100% of family members are confident that their family member receives safe and respectful care. These results reflect our commitment to providing compassionate, person-centred care.
Staffing and training
At the heart of our services is a compassionate, skilled team of staff who go above and beyond everyday. We’re proud that 100% of our staff are fully trained in Safeguarding, GDPR, Health and Safety in a care setting and Introduction to safe handling and medicine before they enter our services, ensuring the highest standard of support and care for every person that we support. Once in service, each new member of staff is expected to commit to a three day mandatory company induction and training.
Compliance and Accreditation
We are proud to be fully registered and accredited by recognised industry bodies, including the Care Quality Commission and the National Care Association.
As part of our dedication to best practice, we actively support the STOMP campaign and have a great relationship with the pledge, to help promote careers in care to the next generation. 1st Enable are also bronze members of the Armed Forces Covenant and members of Working to Reduce Restrictive Practices
